Extensive repairs & extension

MFA designed and obtained planning permission for this contemporary side extension to a traditional stone built cottage within the countryside. The proposals involved raising the ridge height of the existing cottage by 600mm to allow for first floor accommodation to be achieved.  Externally, the extension was clad in larch to complement the existing stonework.
