Extensive repairs including internal alterations

This refurbishment project related to a prominent B listed building within the heart of Pittenweem Conservation Area.  The property, which was a former sea captain's house, suffered from saltwater corrosion due to it location on the shoreline.  Our client sought to undertake a full programme of repairs which included rectifying dampness within the building, sensitively refurbishing the timber sash and case windows and upgrading the interior to provide a more connected and useable living environment.
