MFA were instructed to obtain planning permission for this farm diversification project which would bring additional economic support to the existing agricultural business.  Tourism remains a very important part of the Fife economy and the growth in tourism, in North East Fife, has been far greater than anywhere else in the kingdom.  Our client had identified a gap in the ‘4/5 star‘ standard for quality self catering holiday accommodation within the East Neuk area.  This required high quality bespoke ‘lodge style’ units with hot tubs, good separation distances between pitches which take full advantage of the expansive views out of the site towards the Firth of Forth and Lothians as well as general access to the countryside.
