Contemporary dwelling

Located within the countryside on the edge of a disused quarry near the village of Auchtermuchty, this 4 bedroom, modern vernacular dwellinghouse was designed for a private client.  

The cohesive bespoke design utlilises high quality materials including zinc and natural stone.  A highly insulated timber kit was supplemented by a whole house ventilation (WHV) system and ground source heat pump to provide a low energy solution.

The development received a commendation from the Dundee Institute of Architects (DIA) in 2015 in the Best New House Award category.
