Alan joined the practice in 1983 and became a partner in 1994, having previously worked for Fife Council and The Parr Partnership.
With over 40 years of public and private practice experience in architecture, Alan has successfully delivered on a wide variety of projects including private residential new build and housing association developments, commercial developments, entertainment and holiday park developments and private residential alterations, conversions and extensions.
Joe Narsapur BSc BArch (Hons) RIAS
Partner - Architect
Joe joined the practice in 2011 and was subsequently promoted to an associate in late 2013 before becoming a partner in May 2018.
Joe brings creative flair to the practice and has great communication skills both in person and through 3D visualisations and drawings. Joe has extensive experience in listed building conversions, bespoke dwellings and masterplanning projects.
Joe previously worked for Parr Architects and also did a spell of work in India working for Kadri Architects.
Darren O’Hare BA (Hons) MRTPI
Partner - Planner
Darren joined the practice from Fife Council in 2014 and was subsequently promoted to an associate the following year and became a partner in May 2018.
Darren has over 15 years experience working in the planning profession in both public and private sector roles. His time in local government has provided Darren with a practical working knowledge of planning legislation and policy as well as considerable experience of the planning application process.
Darren has extensive knowledge of all areas of planning with particular specialisms in renewable energy, tourism and rural development. In addition, Darren is the appointed planning advisor to the British Holiday & Home Parks Association in Scotland providing specialist advice to the caravan/holiday park industry.
James Wright MA (Hons) MRTPI
Associate - Planner
James joined the practice as an Associate in 2023 from South Lanarkshire Council, where most recently he had been the Planning HQ Team Leader, leading on the local development plan, planning enforcement, Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and all mineral, energy and waste applications as well as acting as the council’s planning adviser to the planning local review body.
James has over 20 years of professional planning experience in local government, in both development management and planning policy with extensive knowledge of both, as well as considerable experience with planning legislation and the planning application process.
James has extensive knowledge of all areas of planning with particular specialisms in environmental planning and rural development.
Kerry Heggie
Practice Manager
Kerry joined the practice as accounts assistant in 2008 and quickly established herself as a key member of the team and was promoted to accounts manager in 2010.
Now as Practice Manager Kerry deals with the day to day running of the practice, marketing and accounts. Kerry has built up a wide range of experience, working in a variety of sectors and positions.
Michael Manzie ACIAT
Associate - Architectural Technician
Mike joined the practice from Fife Council in 1985 and became an associate in 1997. Mike has extensive experience as an architectural technician working on individual new builds for private clients and large residential developments for commercial clients.
With over 30 years experience Mike has been involved with private residential alterations, conversions and extensions, private residential new build, housing association developments and commercial, hotel/leisure/holiday park developments. Mike has a comprehensive knowledge of all up-to-date Scottish Building Regulations.
Donald Griffiths MArch (Hons) RIAS
Architect
Donald joined the practice as a Chartered Architect in May 2022, following over 4 years at Oliver & Robb Architects where he gained extensive experience working on both commercial and residential projects.
Since graduating from the University of Dundee with a Masters in Architecture, he has continued to develop his keen interest in contemporary low energy design. Donald has great interpersonal skills, and enjoys building a strong rapport with clients as projects progress from start to finish.
Outside work, Donald is an enthusiastic sportsman, enjoying swimming, tennis and golf in his spare time. He is also the proud father of Oscar (the office dog) and more recently welcomed the birth of his first child.
Andi MacIndeor
Administration Assistant
Andi joined the practice in 2023 and having previously worked for a local medical practice. Andi has a wide variety of experience within customer focussed roles and supports the Practice Manager in the running of the practice through a wide range of roles and responsibilities.
Victor Arcas HND
Architectural Technician
Victor has recently joined the practice from the Everwarm Group where he held a senior architectural technician position.
